Broadstairs Folk Week 2010

All over for another year, and in the nick of time as Broadstairs seems to have turned into a swimming pool overnight...

A huge thank you to all of you who came to the festival, the performers, technical crews, venue staff, workforce, and of course our valued customers.  We hope that you enjoyed the week, and that we'll see some of you again next year.          

If you’re thinking of turning up without booking for the campsite – please don’t!

If you still haven't seen this cult movie of morris-dancing - now's your chance! The Palace Cinema Broadstairs are showing the film on Wednesday 11th August at 2.30pm.

We're very pleased to say that the Co-operative membership Community Fund is supporting the adult workshops in Broadstairs Folk Week this year - so very many thanks to them - and if you need to do your shopping in Folk Week - why not go to excellent Co-op in St.Peter's, Hopeville Avenue - about ten minutes drive from the campsite.

We very much regret that owing to ill-health ROGER WATSON is unable to attend the Festival this year.  We are working hard to replace the irreplaceable, and wish Roger all the very best.  Respected singer and choir leader Janet Russell will now be taking Roger's Harmony workshops.

KING TOADFISH will not now be attending the Festival, for health reasons.  We send our good wishes.  All of King Toadfish' slots will now be taken by DEMOLITION SKY

We have sold out of our day tickets for SATURDAY 7th August, though we still have weekend tickets available

We have now sold out of individual event tickets for the following events: if you are a season ticket holder this does not affect you!

The Box Office is now open for single event tickets - in the Concert Marquee, the Pavilion on the Sands, the Methodist Church, Crampton Museum, Sailing Club and other smaller venues.
