Broadstairs Folk Week is a success and we thank our sponsors for contributing to that success we simply wouldn't be able to organise such a first-class festival without their support.
Supporting Folk Week means you are supporting the local economy -
An Economic Impact Survey was carried out at Folk Week in 2012 by Kent County Council and the results found that Folk Week contributes £2.3 million pounds to the local economy
We have a variety of sponsorship packages available ranging from the lead sponsorship of the entire festival through to Corporate Supporters which costs from £75 per annum and is a very valuable way for the traders in Broadstairs to help keep the festival in the town.
We try and make sure that sponsors feel valued and we give as much profile to them as we can possibly manage. Broadstairs Folk Week is not a commercial festival that can take advantage of different open stages in a green field site it is a community event that contributes a huge amount to the local economy, lasts a whole week and attracts thousands and thousands of visitors to the area.
Folk music seems to have a very strong link to real ale and we are very grateful to the Shepherd Neame brewery not only for brewing lovely beer but also for their sponsorship which we hope encourages all our festival-goers to opt for a pint of Masterbrew in the local hostelries.
There are many different activities in the festival that can be sponsored the workshops in music, song and dance; the young people's events; the concerts, dances we are flexible and can create a package to suit your company.
